Meet the 2019 Techs!

Hannah Brown

My name is Hannah and I am a lover of all insects!  I graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2017 with a B.S in Field and Wildlife biology.  My entomology course first sparked my interest in insects, especially diversity and their importance to humans and other animals.  My senior thesis was focused on parasitism of Monarch Butterflies by tachinid flies in central California.  Although I love field work, I am also an avid educator and have travelled around the world teaching students about the importance of conservation and how to love our planet! I can’t wait to see the results of this pollinator study.
