Hello! I am a graduate student in the Range Science Program at NDSU. I just recently moved up to NDSU after working at and attending Kansas State University. After finishing my undergrad, I worked on a pollinator project involving rangeland management practices. Through this position I discovered that I really liked bees! Much of my interest involves native bees...their diversity is insane! But I also am interested in many aspects of wildlife biology and how lands can be managed for both human and wildlife benefit. I love being out on grasslands, but always look forward to my time at the microscope. Super excited to see what's out here!

Hi there! I am currently an Entomology graduate student at NDSU. After graduating from the University of Washington in Seattle with a BS in Biology I spent four years working as a seasonal wildlife technician. I studied prairie dogs, marine fish, and desert vegetation before discovering my love for entomology and specifically lepidoptera. Now I am thrilled to be researching pollinators across the entire expanse of the state of North Dakota. My favorite butterfly in this region is the common ringlet (Coenonympha tullia) because it was the first species I encountered here, it's an early season species that signals the beginning of summer, and I love eye spots!
